We strongly recommend you purchase appropriate travel insurance at the time you pay your deposit for any Cunard voyage. If you do not purchase travel insurance you may not be able to recover cancellation charges, medical costs, repatriation and other expenses that may arise if things do not go according to plan. Australian Medicare, New Zealand ACC and private health insurance will not cover you for any medical costs on board, even on Australia and New Zealand cruises. The authorised amounts are not taken from your account untilitis finally settled on the day of disembarkation. If your voyage is longer than 28 nights your credit card will be charged mid cruise and at the end.
