Arrive in Tel Aviv. On day 2 we visit Beersheba and ride a cable car to the fortress of Masada, where King Herod built a palace in 31BC. We then descend to the Dead Sea for a float in its salty waters, before continuing to Jerusalem. Overnight - Tel Aviv (1), Jerusalem (1). We spend two days touring Jerusalem, including the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial and the ancient Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. On day 4 we see the Wailing Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Garden of Gethsemane, We also browse the Mahane Yehuda market. Overnight - Jerusalem (2). On day 5 we visit the Roman city of Beit Shean and the holy sites of Nazareth and Safed. Enjoy wine tasting in the Golan Heights ‘on day 6 and drive to ancient Capernaum. We also visit Tiberias, where there’s an optional sailing trip on the Sea of Galilee. Overnight - Galilee (2). Handpicked Range D Today we explore Acre and Haifa, including the Bahai Shrine and gardens. We then continue to Caesarea and on to the port town of Jaffa for a guided walk, before arriving in Tel Aviv. Overnight - Tel Aviv. Enter Jordan and visit Jerash on day 8, then drive to Amman for a city tour. We explore Petra on day 9, including the ancient Treasury and the Monastery. Overnight - Amman (1), Petra (1). On day 10 we take in the highlights of Madaba and visit Mt Nebo for scenic views over the Promised Land, before returning to Tel Aviv. Our tour ends on day 11 (Wednesday) with an airport transfer.
