Day 01: Arrive Istanbul On arrival in Istanbul, transfer to your ship and settle into your spacious suite. This evening, meet your crew and fellow travellers at a welcome dinner. D Stay: 20 Nights, Le Jacques Cartier. Day 02: Canakkale, Gallipoli Peninsula Arrive in Ganakkale and visit a number of memorials on the Gallipoli Peninsula. After lunch back on board, perhaps travel to the ancient city of Troy, or you may wish to tour the ancient city of Assos (see page 127). BLD Day 03: Lesbos Spend the day in Mytilene. Admire its architecture and walk through the marketplace. BLD Day 04: Kusadasi, Ephesus Dock in Kusadasi. Drive to the nearby ancient city of Ephesus and immerse yourself in ancient Roman life. Enjoy lunch and a folklore show at a handicraft museum before returning to your ship. BLD Day 05: Symi A local guide will show you around the Symi today. From the first sight of Gialos Harbour, you will fall in love with the pastel-coloured houses that line the shores. Later, enjoy time to explore on your own. BLD. Day 06: Mykonos Land on Mykonos and take a guided tour. Later, take a walking tour through Chora. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. BLD Day 07: Paros, Naxos Arrive in Paros and travel to charming Naousa. Tour Parikia, enjoying a walk through the town and visiting The Church of 100 Doors. Later, set sail for Naxos where you'll visit the Temple of Apollo. This evening, you can dine at your leisure on shore. BLD Day 08: Milos In stunning Milos, you can choose to take a tour of the island, or you may wish to enjoy a relaxing morning at one of its most picturesque beaches, Paleochori (see page 128). BLD Day 09: Athens, Corinth Canal On a tour of Athens, take in the city’s most popular attractions including the Acropolis, the Parthenon and Plaka. Later, your ship will traverse the Corinth Canal. BLD Europe 2023 Day 10: Itea, Delphi This morning, arrive in Itea and set off on an excursion to the sacred site of Delphi to tour its greatest highlights. BLD Day 11: Ithaca Dock in Ithaca and take a guided walk through Vathy. Later, sail to Aetos Bay, where there will be an option to take a swim directly from your ship's aqua platform. BLD Day 12: Otranto Disembark in the port town of Otranto. Perhaps enjoy a guided city tour, or visit the historic town of Lecce (see page 128). Enjoy free time to explore the town at your leisure before relaxing on board this evening as you sail towards Kotor, Montenegro. BLD Day 13: Kotor Cruise the stunning fjord of Kotor Bay. Arrive in Kotor and take a walking tour of the Old Town. Later, you can disembark and enjoy dinner at your leisure. BLD Day 14: Dubrovnik Choose your Dubrovnik sightseeing today. Perhaps ride a cable car to the top of Srd Mountain for brilliant views, or learn about the city’s walls on a guided tour (see page 127). A late departure allows time to further discover the stunning city. BLD Day 15: Koréula Arrive in Korcula, and visit a family-owned olive oil mill. Travel to Blato to experience the Barilo Family Museum. Savour a tasting at a boutique winery. BLD Day 16: Hvar Embark on a guided walking discovery of Hvar's stunning Old Town from the iconic main square to the Benedictine Nunnery, where we hear about the aloe lace still produced today by the nuns.
