Queen Sonja Art Foundation was established in 2011 to promote graphic art, generate interest and stimulate the development of contemporary print-making. The Foundation supports and encourages graphic art of all expressions and techniques. Hurtigruten has collaborated with QSPA on the artistic profile of MS Fridtjof Nansen and MS Roald Amundsen. Almost 500 unique works of art, mainly by younger Norwegian artists and previous QSPA winners, will be featured on board the ships, in addition to some works by HM Queen Sonja herself.
