Domestic Flights Planes are very similar to what you would travel on at home with allocated seats. Depending on flight duration meals may/may not be provided. Group members may not necessarily be seated together. The flight schedule of domestic airlines changes frequently, hence all domestic flights that appear in your itinerary are subject to change. Please ensure that all valuables and any medications you may need for the rest of the day are carried in your hand luggage. The luggage limit is 20kg per passenger, and bags must be locked. Airlines currently do not allow liquids (alcohol, spirits, wine, water, perfume etc) or sharp objects to be carried onboard the aircraft in hand luggage and these will be confiscated. Coaches Our coaches are comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles. It is recommended that where seatbelts are available customers must use them and remain seated at all times whilst the vehicleis moving. Wendy Wu Tours cannot guarantee that vehicles will be fitted with operable seat belts. There will also be some instances where smaller vehicles such as jeeps are used to access certain areas. If this is the case this will be stated in your itinerary. Trains Trains are used in some of the itineraries, travelling through areas with stunning scenery. Boats In Egypt you will cruise the Nile on a 5* vessel, where the cabins have a private bathroom, air conditioner and river views while the communal area offers a swimming pool, outdoor bar, lounge, gift shop, restaurant and sauna & gym. You will enjoy various forms of entertainment in the evenings such as belly dancing and an oriental show. Q. Is there a dress code on your tours? A. How do standards abroad compare with Australia? A. We will do our best to ensure that your holiday is safe and trouble free and we are continually working with our local partners to maintain and improve health and safety standards. Travelling abroad involves new places and new experiences and sometimes this means different safety and hygiene standards to those we are used to in Australia. We therefore ask that you take care; pay attention at all times and use your common sense. You are also requested to refer to notices and follow advice from your national escort or local guide. Q. How does the tipping system work on your tours? A. Tipping is expected in Central Asia & Middle East. However this can often lead to awkwardness in knowing when it is appropriate to tip and how much, as well as ensuring you have a suitable amount of change available at the time. For your convenience, and based on many years of experience, Wendy Wu Tours operates a kitty system on our Group Tours so your National Escort will look after this aspect of your trip for you. It also ensures that the amounts paid are reasonable for you but still fair for the local people. The amount is stated on each Group Tour page (and will be advised again in your final documents). Any additional tipping on any of our tours is welcomed at your discretion. Please feel free to tip restaurant staff, porters, or local guides if they performed a special service for you. For tours with fewer than 10 passengers, tipping will be slightly higher than stated on the group tour pages.
