This morning depart Windhoek and travel southwest through the scenic Khomas Highlands into the Namib Desert with a picnic lunch en route. Spend two nights at Dead Valley Lodge with visits to the Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei. The lodge is situated within the Namib Naukluft National Park, providing a panoramic view of the Namib Desert with towering red dunes, rugged mountain ranges and arid desert savannahs. (BLO) An early morning start to capture this awesome landscape and explore the dune fields, enjoy a picnic brunch. Afternoon is at leisure after an exhilarating morning in the dunes. (BLD) The fascinating drive northwest today takes in the ever-changing landscapes of the Gaub and Kuiseb canyons. Meet the coast at Walvis Bay and arrive into the historic town of Swakopmund where you will spend two nights at a local guesthouse. (BLD) Today either enjoy a kayaking adventure or motorised boat trip within the outer lagoon of Walvis Bay, an ideal way of seeing Cape fur seals, dolphins, pelicans and flamingos. Afternoon is at leisure. (BLD) The journey continues north into the wonderful region of Damaraland, Pass the Brandberg, Namibia's highest mountain, in one of the least populated and geologically diverse areas in Africa. The harsh, rocky environment is home to the desert adapted elephant. Spend two nights at Camp Kipwe, nestled amongst giant granite boulders. (BLD) Spend the day on an exciting 4X4 excursion in this remarkable region in search of wildlife, a visit to Twyfelfontein and other nearby attractions, and a guided walk. (BLD) Today you set off on your journey to the Ongava Game Reserve, situated on the southern border of Etosha National Park. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive on the Ongava Game Reserve. Spend the night at Ongava Tented Camp (or similar). (BLD) Enjoy a day of game driving through Etosha National Park. Lunch can either be enjoyed at your camp, at an alternative rest camp in the area, or as a picnic while watching game at a particularly productive waterhole. Leaving the Park at sunset, you are invited to have dinner at the camp's floodlit waterhole on the Ongava Game Reserve. (BLD) Enjoy game drives in the National Park and in the Reserve. (BLD) An early departure takes you south towards Windhoek with a stop at Okonjimas AfriCat Day Centre for a game drive, tour and lunch. Overnight at Galton House.
