& SUSTAINABILITY REPORT ome i S Dy ee et eerie Tn Bice mele ue Meaningful Partnerships Sustainability KOALA CARE: ° HEALING ANID HABITAT RESTORATION Our Lismore, Ballina and Armidale team were delighted to help conservation group, Friends of the Koala. The team built « 40-metre path in the koala recovery creo, planted over 250 native seedlings that will ‘one day grow into trees for the koala'’s habitat, and pruned trees to reduce fire risk. We also donated items to help provide shade to the koalas as they recover from their operations ond injures. Friends of the Koala are « leading koala conservation group based in east Lismore who have helped restore nearly 60 hectares of koala habitat. HOP TO IT: THE FROG POND ERPERIENIGE Some of our store teams connected with local primary schools fo help them build frog ponds and hotels, encouraging frogs into school gardens to develop healthy eco systems and to learn more about the frog life cycle. GRADUATION CELEBRATIONS The Bunnings Graduation Program helps schools recognise graduating students though activities, workshops, donations and assistance with graduation ceremonies. The program provides meaningful ways to help Kindergarten, Grade 6, Year 12 and Victorian Cerificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) students cond their school create beautful memories. The <grodvating class ot Loxton Primary Schoo! planted {an ornamental almond tee in front of their Year 6 classroom - a lasting legacy to the Class of 2023 €on school grounds.
