Soak in the history over a relaxed lunch. Continue to the natural amphitheatre of Wilpena Pound. Set among river red gums and native pines, Ikara Safari Camp is the perfect base for exploring Wilpena Pound National Park. BLD Two Nights: Wilpena Pound, Ikara Safari Camp. Day 03: Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park This morning, set out on a walk to explore the incredible natural surrounds of Wilpena Pound before continuing to the geological sites of Brachina and Bunyeroo Gorges. Keep an eye out for the endangered yellow-footed rock- wallaby as you explore the quartzite-ridged gorges. Enjoy dinner at your safari camp this evening. BLD Kimberley & Outback Wilderness Adventures 2024 Day 04: Wilpena Pound, Barossa Valley Enjoy the morning at Wilpena Pound, followed by lunch at the iconic Flinders Ranges hotel, The Prairie, before setting off for the Barossa Valley. On arrival, settle into your scenic hotel overlooking the rolling hills of the Barossa Range and Jacob's Creek Vineyard. Enjoy an exclusive dinner at Fino Seppeltsfield this evening. BLD Three Nights: Novotel Barossa Valley Resort. Day 05: Barossa Valley Explore the Barossa your way this morning with your chosen activity. Perhaps get active with a round of golf next door at Tanunda Pines Golf Course or opt for a bush walk with your Driver-Guide at Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park. Alternatively, indulge in the traditional German social ritual of Kaffee und Kuchen (coffee and cake) in nearby Tanunda, a nod to the Barossa's German heritage. After working up an appetite, drop by Barossa royalty, St Hugo, the home of some of the region's most iconic wines. Afterwards, why not see the valley from a different perspective with an optional helicopter flight (own expense).
