Discover the Old Town, the World Heritage-listed centre with its collection of medieval and baroque buildings, and gorgeous mountain views. This evening, enjoy dinner while listening to the music of Mozart, during our first of a three-night stay. Three Nights: Salzburg, Goldenes Theater Hotel. BD Day 4, Salzburg Today is free for you to enjoy Salzburg. Perhaps visit the Salzburg Fortress, also known as Hohensalzburg Castle, which is perched high above the city with great views from its peak. Or try a Mozartkugel, a delicious chocolate named after Mozart. Day 5. Austrian Lake District Discover the beauty of the Austrian Lake District today, heading first to Bad Ischi, before pressing on to St Gilgen, filled to the brim with baroque and rococo character.
