Arrive in Cairo. On day 2 we discover the incredible Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, then visit Saqqara necropolis. Explore the Grand Egyptian Museum and see the royal mummies of pharaohs at the National Museum of Ancient Civilisation on day 3. Then board the night train to Aswan in the evening. Overnight - Cairo (2), Sleeper train (1). Arrive in Aswan on day 4 and join a boat trip to Philae Temple. Opt to visit Abu Simbel early on day 5 before we board a traditional felucca for our two-night Nile cruise (Nile cruise upgrade available). Swim, sunbathe and relax onboard, stopping at Kom Ombo Temple on day 6. Overnight - Aswan (1), Felucca (2). On day 7 we disembark and drive to Luxor, where there's an optional visit to Luxor Temple. On day 8 we take in the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut and Colossi of = S: Relaxing in the Dead Sea, Jordan Please note that the fight from Cairo to Amman is not included inthe cost ofthis tour. Also note that the Grand Egyptian Museum is set to open late 2021, an official date has yet to be released. Explore magnificent Karnak Temple and board the night train to Cairo. Day 9 is at leisure. Overnight - Luxor (1), Sleeper train (1), Cairo (1). Fly from Cairo to Amman on day 10. On day 11 we tour Amman citadel and enjoy the view from the top of Mt Nebo. Explore Madaba and visit Umm-ar-Rasas before we arrive in Petra. Walk along the Sig to the Treasury and see the Monastery during a tour of Petra on day 12. Overnight - Amman (1), Petra (2). On day 13 we enjoy an SUV safari to our campsite in the Wadi Rum desert. On day 14 we explore Shobak Castle and you can opt to trek the famous Wadi Mujib canyon (Apr - Oct departures). Our tour ends on day 15 (Friday) with an airport transfer.
