Pottery Barn was first established in America; it was founded by two brothers Paul Secon and Morris Secon; in 1949, they discovered barns packed with pottery and started their retail store. The store grew and started expanding after some time. In 1966, Paul sold his part of the company, while Morris later sold his company's share in 1968. In 1984, The Gap became the new owner; under a new administration, the company continued to grow and more open. Over the years, Pottery Barn started spreading to other parts of the world, and we now have branches worldwide.
