During the year, Bunnings continued to make progress towards achieving 100 per cent renewable electricity by 2025 and net zero Scope | and Scope 2 emissions by 2030. As of 30 June 2024, Bunnings achieved 79.6 per cent renewable electricity usage across its network and reduced Scope | and Scope 2 emissions by 17.7 per cent relative to the prior year. During the year, the majority of Bunnings sites in New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Western Australia all transitioned to being powered by 100 per cent renewable electricity. Our New Zealand operations and large sites in Victoria continue to be powered by 100 per cent renewoble electricity To support the growth of local electricity generation of renewable power, Bunnings installed an additional 26 onsite solar photovoltaic (PV) rooftop systems across Australia, bringing the total numberof sites with onsite solar PV systems to 153, RESPONSIBLE TINMBER SOURCING Bunnings remains committed to ensuring all imber and wood products originate from legal and well-managed forest operations. All natural forest imber products at Bunnings are independently certified inline with ā€˜our Bunningsā€™ Responsible Timber Sourcing Policy and cerification includes Forest Stewardship CouncilĀ® (FSCĀ®), Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Cerification {PEFC) or another equivalent standard We regularly conduct a Responsible Timber Sourcing Survey for due diligence to monitor suppliers of new limber, wood or fibre products to Bunnings, including imber pulp ond paper, component and composite products that have a percentage of timber input. Tis captures the timber species, country of harvest, forest type, country of manufacture, opplicable timber cerffcation and product claims.
