Hanoi - Sapa “BD We'll journey through breathtaking scenery to the hills of Sapa. Arriving at Ta Phin Village, inhabited by the Red Dao ethnic group, we'll learn the touching story of the abandoned monastery. Meet the locals who will inform us about a successful enterprise connecting them with the Hanoi University of Medicine. * Share a home-cooked meal with the local Ly Ma Man family, learning about their culture and how corn alcohol is produced. Day 6.Sapa @ “BL Asoft trek through Muong Hoa Valley, we will learn the secrets of rice farming, local health and schooling in Laos Chai Village. We'll discover ‘batik’, an old Black Hmong textile dyeing technique, during a hands-on class. Day 7. Sapa - Hanoi Today we'll return to Hanoi Day 8. Hanoi - Halong Bay Take in breathtaking Halong Bay today. 4 Embark Cruise: We'll board our cruise vessel and enjoy lunch while witnessing the incredible views. Disembarking, we'll tour Viet Hai Village by bicycle, before returning to the boat @ Inight: Luxury Vietnamese cruise boat Day 9. Halong Bay - Hanoi - Hue “B We'll cruise to Cua Van floating village, before visiting Hang Sng Toi (Dark and Bright Cave), known for its stunning limestone structure. 4 Disembark Cruise: After enjoying brunch back on board, we'll disembark and return to Hanoi for our flight to Hue. Day 10. Hue “BL Today is dedicated to discovering Hue. We'll visit the royal tombs of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh, take in the panoramic views from Bunker Hill and stop at the Tiger Colosseum. We will explore the UNESCO World Heritage- listed Citadel at the Imperial Palace, along with the Thien My Pagoda. Our day concludes with a dragon boat cruise along Perfume River. Day 11. Hue - Hoi An x Discover Truc Chi today, a traditional bamboo paper art, including a hands-on experience. The finished product is yours to keep! We'll then depart for Hoi An via the Hai Van Pass. Day 12. Hoi An “BD We begin the day with a walking tour of charming Hoi An. & Visita colourful local market before taking a short cruise along the Hoi An River to the secluded Red Bridge Cooking School for an aromatic and informative cooking class. Day 13. Hoi An The day is at leisure for you to enjoy this picturesque town at your own pace. “BLD Day 14. Hoi An - Danang - Saigon “BD This morning we fly to Saigon, also known as Ho Chi Minh City. Go off the beaten track to discover Saigon’s best food spots. Touring by vespa, we'll taste authentic Vietnamese cuisine as the locals do. Day 15. Mekong Delta Excursion @ = BL We explore the Ben Tre province in the Mekong region today. We'll stop at a family-owned coconut processing business and a brick making factory. Day 16. Saigon - Vung Tau 8 Our half day tour of Saigon's highlights include the moving War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office. Later, we'll drive to the port city of Vung Tau. Day 17. Vung Tau SeBL We'll learn more about the Vietnam War today visiting the former Nui Dat Task Force Base. Continuing on, we'll stop at the Long Tan Cross Memorial and the Long Phuoc Tunnels. Day 18. Vung Tau - Saigon “BD Returning to Saigon, we will then bid farewell to Vietnam with a group dinner tonight. Day 19. Saigon - Siem Reap “BD We fly to Cambodia's Siem Reap today and enjoy a group dinner on arrival Day 20. Siem Reap @ BL Today we'll visit the ancient fortified city of Angkor Thom, the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King. We'll also tour the temples of Baphuon and Phimeanakas, before cruising Tonlé Sap Lake. Day 21. Siem Reap @ “BD We begin our day with a visit to the Temple of Ta Keo, the amazing ruins of Ta Prohm and the Temple of Preah Khan. We'll also see the Buddhist temples of Banteay Kdei and Banteay Srei. Take part ina Khmer cooking class with a local family and learn about their food customs and beliefs. We'll savour our creations at lunch, overlooking a lily pond. Day 22. Siem Reap - Phnom Penh xB ty An early start to witness the breathtaking views, shadows and reflections of Angkor Wat at sunrise. Enjoy free time to explore the temple, before we fly to Phnom Penh this afternoon. Day 23. Phnom Penh »~BD Today we visit the poignant Killing Fields and the notorious Security Prison 21, Tuol Sleng Our day continues to the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Museum. Day 24. Phnom Penh - Vientiane “B We fly to Vientiane today, the colonial capital of Laos. Day 25. Vientiane “B Our day of sightseeing includes the temples of Wat Si Saket, the Royal Temple of Wat Prakeo and the Temple of Emerald Buddha. View the golden stupa of Pha That Luang and Phatuxai Victory Gate, inspired by Paris' Arc de Triomphe. Explore the night markets along the banks of the Mekong tonight. Day 26. Vientiane - Van Vieng “B Heading north we'll arrive at Vang Vieng. After some free time, we'll enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Nam Song River. Day 27. Van Vieng - Luang Prabang Take in the views of the farmlands and rice paddies as we travel to Luang Prabang today. We'll cross the cable bridge to the Hmong village of Ban Phan Thao and even discover “BL *B the small, but beautiful Tam Change cave. Day 28. Luang Prabang Today we explore this charming city. Learn about the culture, architecture and temple etiquette of Buddhism during a private guided tour by a former monk or novice who has left the monastery. Take in the views from Mt Phou Si, before our afternoon at the handicraft village of Ban Xang Khong. w voin the locals and experience the tastes and customs of Laos during a game of Pétanque, followed by a traditional dinner. Day 29. Luang Prabang “B After a morning at leisure, we'll learn about rice harvesting and the tools used from a local farming guide at the Living Lands Organic Farm. Enjoy a sample of some typical food made from rice. Day 30. Luang Prabang Pack your swimmers today, as we spend the morning at the picturesque Kuang Si Waterfalls, found deep in the jungle. We bid farewell to these three fascinating countries with a sunset cruise along the Mekong River, before our final group dinner. Day 31. Depart Luang Prabang Today we begin our journey home. Day 32.
