SOUTH AFRICA CAPE TO VICTORIA FALLS OVERLAND SAFARI 20 DAYS / 19 NIGHTS — CAMPING Travelling with Nomad Africa Adventure Tours means friendship, fun and adventure plus the security that group travel brings. This evening you will be treated to a traditional South African meal, followed by a full tour briefing from your guide. (LD) DAY 2 - NAMAQUALAND - ORANGE RIVER Travel through the Northern Cape and Namaqualand. Proceed to your camp situated on the Orange River that forms the border between South Africa and Namibia and overnight. (BLD) DAY 3 - 4 - ORANGE RIVER ~ FISH RIVER CANYON Continue north to Fish River Canyon. After a scenic hike along the rim, turn west and head for Keetmanshoop. Spend time meandering through the Quiver Tree Forest and The Giants Playground. (BLD) DAY 5 - 6 ~ NAMIB NAUKLUFT NATIONAL PARK Arrive at the Namib Naukluft National Park and set up camp. Early in the morning walk up Dune 45 for an amazing view and photo opportunity and spend time visiting the pans at Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. (BLD) DAY 7 - 8 - SWAKOPMUND Cross the Tropic of Capricorn and travel onto Namibia's Atlantic coast and the adventure capital, Swakopmund where there are many optional activities available. (BLD) DAY 9 - SPITZKOPPE - BRANDBERG Today head inland towards Brandberg, stopping enroute at Spitzkoppe, where you will enjoy some time exploring the enormous granite monoliths with your guide. (BLD) MOZAMBIQUE BOTSWANA ESWATINI SOUTH AFRICA | ESOTHO SOUTH ATLANTIC ‘OCEAN (EGA) CALL us oN 1300 AFRICA (237 422) DAY 10 - BRANDBERG ~ KAMANJAB Visit the Brandberg (Burning Mountains), home to the famous White Lady, one of more than 45,000 rock paintings in the area. Later continue to the area of Kamanjab. (BLD) DAY 11 - 12 - ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK Continue to Etosha, the venue of some of Africa's most unique game viewing experiences. Enjoy various game drives and spend your evenings at the abundant waterholes. (BLD) DAY 13 - WINDHOEK Rise early and set off towards Windhoek. On arrival your guide will take you on a short drive through Windhoek. (BLD) DAY 14 - WINDHOEK ~ GHANZI After an early start, cross the Botswanan border. This evening, experience some traditional tribal dancing from the local San community. (BLD) DAY 15 - MAUN Today journey to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. The afternoon is at leisure. (BLD) DAY 16 — OKAVANGO DELTA Today experience the beauty and serenity of the Okavango Delta where a variety of game may be spotted in this pristine wilderness area. Enjoy a mokoro trip and nature walk. (BLD) DAY 17 - MAUN ~ NATA Bid farewell to Maun and make your way across the northern reaches of the Makgadikgadi Pans towards the town of Nata. (BLD) DAY 18 - CHOBE NATIONAL PARK Continue north to your camp on the banks of the Chobe River. This afternoon is set aside for exploring Chobe National Park by safari vehicle and ends with a leisurely boat cruise. (BLD) DAY 19 - VICTORIA FALLS The journey continues to Victoria Falls. Visit the Falls and experience the thundering of the mighty Zambezi as it drops over 100m into the gorge below. You will have free time to relax and explore the magnificent town of Victoria Falls.
