MAKUTSI CLASSIC SAFARI 7 DAYS / 6 NIGHTS Between the Drakensberg Mountains and the Kruger National Park on the banks of the Makutsi River, lies the family owned and managed Makutsi Safari Springs. It is raw African bush enjoyed by people who appreciate the peace and serenity of nature - palms and acacias, elephants, rhinos, giraffe, crocodiles, lions, cheetah, leopard and bushveld. Soft thermal- mineral water bubbles from two hot springs, nestling among indigenous trees. The food is a healthy variety of venison specialities, home grown vegetables and home bred beef. Afternoon at leisure followed by dinner served in a traditional open ‘Lapa’. (D) DAY 2 - MAKUTSI SAFARI SPRINGS Enjoy a morning game drive in search of the Big Five, which are ll to be found on the reserve. Time to rest or enjoy the natural springs before an afternoon game drive on the reserve. (BD) DAY 3 —- KRUGER NATIONAL PARK Depart early morning for a full day's game viewing in the world famous Kruger National Park. Stop at one of the camps located in the Park for lunch (at own expense) Continue on your game drive before returning late in the afternoon to the lodge. (BD) DAY 4 — MAKUTSI SAFARI SPRINGS Morning at leisure. Depart mid afternoon for a five hour game drive. After enjoying a sundowner, the game viewing continues in search of nocturnal animals.
