Today our sightseeing tour takes us past highlights including the Royal Palace, Gamla Stan and the Vasa Museum - home to the infamous 17th century warship. Tonight we'll enjoy a group welcome dinner at alocal restaurant. Day 4. Stockholm - Helsinki “B The morning is at your leisure. We board the overnight ferry to Helsinki in the afternoon. Day 5. Helsinki We arrive in Finland's harbourside capital, Helsinki, this morning. Understatedly chic and with a legendary design scene, there is much to discover. Today we'll drive past the neoclassical Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, the Underground Temple and Parliament House. Day 6. Helsinki Set ona cluster of islands connected by bridges, this morning we'll visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Suomenlinna Fortress by ferry. Day 7. Helsinki - Ivalo - Inari Today we travel north into the region of Lapland, home to the phenomenon of the midnight sun and the northern lights. We fly into Ivalo before making the short drive to Inari where we have free time at our hotel. Day 8. Inari BLD This morning we visit the Siida Museum to learn about the Finnish Sami culture. Reindeer are an essential part of life in Sami Lapland, and after a cruise on Lake Inari this afternoon, we'll visit a farm to meet some. Day 9. Inari - Honningsvag “BD Today we cross the border into Norway and explore the tiny township of Karasjok to experience Sami culture firsthand. We'll then venture further north to Honningsvag. he Enjoy a drinkin an ice bar where everything is made of ice from the lakes of Lapland, including the glasses our drinks are served in! te ENioy dinner in the Gallery at North Cape, Europe’s northernmost point, and the perfect place to experience the phenomenon of the ‘Midnight Sun’. Day 10. Honningsvag - Alta @ We wind our way through stunning mountainous scenery on our way to Alta. Alta is home to northern Europe's largest concentration of rock art, which we'll have the opportunity to see at the Alta Museum. Take a walk in the ‘Midnight Sun’ up to Mt Komsa to enjoy the stunning views over Alta and the surrounding mountains. Day 11. Alta - Tromso 4B Continuing south, we make our way via ferries through the breathtaking archipelago to Tromsa, the ‘Arctic Capital’, characterised by its snow-capped peaks and centuries-old wooden architecture. Tonight we take an evening cable car ride to the top of Mount Storsteinen for stunning vistas over the city (weather permitting). Day 12. Tromso % Today we visit the iconic Arctic Cathedral, “B *B “BD “~B Tromsg's most famous landmark. Next, we'll visit Tromsa Museum, a university museum that houses the world's northernmost botanical garden - an Arctic-alpine botanic garden Day 13. Troms¢ - Oslo “B We fly to Oslo and enjoy free time in Norway's capital city for the remainder of the day. Day 14. Oslo Our morning sightseeing tour includes the Viking Ship Museum, Vigeland Park and the Holmenkollen Ski Jump, where we'll enjoy spectacular views of the Oslofjord. Day 15. Oslo - Leerdal Today we travel to Leerdal via Gol and Borgund, stopping at the stave church, a medieval wooden structure unique to Norway. Day 16. Leerdal - Bergen “ Travel to Flam through the world's longest road tunnel, the Laerdal Tunnel. We enjoy a stunning cruise along the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Neerayfjord to Gudvangen before stopping at Undredal for an indulgent cheese tasting hy Ride the famous Fldm Railway, enjoying some of Norway's most dramatic scenery as you wind your way through mountains and past fjords. Day 17. Bergen We discover colourful Bergen on a walking tour of the Hanseatic Bryggen quarter and see St Mary's Church. We'll then take the funicular railway to the top of Mt Flayen in the afternoon for incredible views over the city. Day 18. Bergen - Copenhagen Today we fly south to Denmark's cosmopolitan capital, Copenhagen - also known as the happiest city in the world! On arrival, we'll enjoy a guided tour of Cisternerne, a water reservoir that today is an exhibition space for contemporary art. he Enjoy a unique experience as you ‘Dine with a Dane’, We'll split into groups, visiting homes of local Danish families who will host us for a home-cooked dinner. Day 19. Copenhagen “BD Explore Copenhagen today ona panoramic city tour that includes City Hall Square, Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, the National Museum, the Old Stock Exchange, the Naval Church, Kings New Square and the picturesque canal area of Nyhavn. We'll also see one of Copenhagen's most loved monuments, the statue of the Little Mermaid. Enjoy a canal cruise early this afternoon, experiencing Copenhagen from a different perspective, before tonight's group farewell dinner. Day 20.
