Eat well ‘More than eating carrots to see in the dark (although Mina says there is truth to this), a healthy diet gives your eyes the nutrients they need. “A well-balanced diet that is rich inavariety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats can provide the necessary nutrients for maintaining good eye health,” Mina says. “For example, vitamin A from carrots and sweet potatoes are good for night vision. Omega-3 fatty acids from fish can help with dry eyes.” Wear sunglasses Slide on some shades to protect your eyes from Australia’s harsh rays. “Opt for sunglasses with lenses that meet the Australian standard, falling into category 2 or 3, which provide medium and high protection respectively,” Lyn says. However, regular breaks reduce the risk of digital eye strain and fatigue,” Lyn says.
