Scotty & Frankie Meet the team Not only are the Blockheads heading to the countryside for a tree change, but The Block’s Scott Cam is taking on the dual role of hosting the show while building his own country retreat with his adorable rescue Kelpie and star of the season, Frankie. Scotty will be renovating it at the same time the Blockheads are renovating their houses and each week we will see Scotty's own room reveal. When Scotty first arrived at the homestead three months before the contestants, he knew it was going to be a tough challenge ahead. The weatherboard house was built in 1866 by Scottish immigrant Joseph McGeorge, meaning it had been sitting for 154 years. The place was falling to bits as no one had lived there for more than 25 years. But Scotty saw great potential in it and its rich, dense history and has begun renovating the house into a beautiful home.
