Microtec textured tiles create seamless transitions between multiple areas and are easy to maintain. Follow these steps to keep your Microtec textured tiles looking good as new. Newly laid tiles 24 hours after the grout has dried, tiles should be washed with Lithofin Cement Residue Remover following the instructions on the bottle. od ° If you notice a dull haze just after your new tiles are laid, or you are finding that your tiles are getting dirty very quickly - don’t panic! This will likely be grout residue. The good news is that it's easily washed off with Lithofin Cement Residue Remover by following the instructions on the label For initial cleaning of Microtec Textured tiles we recommend Lithofin Cement Residue Remover = Let the cleaner dwell for approximately 10 minutes a Scrub the surface with a doodle pad or stiff bristle brush Mop up residue Wash with Lithofin KF Vitra-Clean as a final step o¢¢ @ Vacuum or sweep the tiles to remove loose dust and grit from the surface oa For a thorough clean use Miracle Tile & Stone Cleaner or Lithofin KF Vitra-Clean, with warm water and a damp microfibre mop. The mop should ‘grab’ the surface and lift off most daily grime with a little pressure. A damp microfibre mop is better than a wet mop for a streak-free clean (avoid the use of cotton and sponge mops}. For a home-made solution, use hot water and a dash of methylated spirits. Avoid all soap based products as they can leave a thin film on the tiles that will attract more dirt. Work from one side of the room to the other, and avoid walking on the tiles until they are dry. @ Steam mops are a popular alternative for owners of polished porcelain tiles, ° Never use polishes or gritty, abrasive cleaners on tiles. Outdoor tiles e¢-¢ Oo Hose the area down to wet the surface. Scrub or sweep with a strong bristled broom.
