BLD BLD: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner 48 Day 03: Hawkesbury River Cruise the calm waters of the Hawkesbury River today, drifting by rugged sandstone cliffs and isolated inlets. This part of our voyage begins at the river's tidal mouth, where you will have the opportunity to climb aboard Zodiacs, getting up close to the tree-lined shores of the region's historic towns. BLD Day 04: Batemans Bay Cruise along the Clyde River and into Batemans Bay. Visit the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden, where native plants have been seamlessly cultivated. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife, including kangaroos, reptiles and birds, which make their home in the surrounding forest. BLD Day 05: Eden Our small ship hugs the coast before arriving in Eden. At Ben Boyd National Park, set out on a choice of walks along the rocky coastline. Several of the park’s lookouts boast views over the Pacific Ocean; you may be lucky enough to see migrating humpback whales from here. With free time in Eden, perhaps visit the Killer Whale Museum or try the region's famous oysters. BLD Small Ships Australia & New Zealand 2022/23 Day 06: Wilsons Promontory Reach the Gippsland region of Victoria today and Wilsons Promontory. This remote region is blessed with tugged wilderness and white sandy beaches. Jump aboard a Zodiac and join our onboard naturalists for a series of nature walks. BLD Day 07: Flinders Island Flinders Island makes for an idyllic stop on our way to the Tasmanian mainland. There are many bushwalking opportunities here, including those along the Strzelecki Peaks, offering incredible views of Bass Strait. BLD Day 08: Burnie, Cradle Mountain Dock in Burnie and board a coach to Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Take in the rugged natural beauty of the mountain and its surrounds, before setting out to discover the tranquil Dove Lake. BLD Day 09: Beauty Point, Beaconsfield, Tamar Valley Visit the Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Centre, which tells the history of Beaconsfield and the Tamar Valley.
