Alternatively, visit Axel Stenross Maritime Museum to discover the lost craft of wooden boat building. BLD Day 06: Coffin Bay Enjoy a Signature Experience this morning. Take a cruise while learning about Coffin Bay's oyster industry. Enjoy fresh-from-the-ocean oysters before travelling to Coffin Bay National Park. Here, admire Almonta Beach, where sand dunes meet azure waters. Watch for schools of salmon, dolphins or seals. Visit Point Avoid lookout, before setting sail for Port Lincoln. BLD Day 08: At Sea, Great Australian Bight It takes two days to cross the Great Australian Bight. Take this opportunity to relax and enjoy the facilities on board your ship. BLD Day 09: At Sea, Great Australian Bight Spend a further day at sea as your ship makes its way into Western Australian waters. BLD Day 10: Lucky Bay Today you will stop in Lucky Bay within Cape Le Grand National Park. With its turquoise water and views of the Recherche Archipelago, it’s known as one of Australia’s best beaches. Join your expedition team for a walk to Thistle Cove, or just relax on the beach and keep an eye out for the kangaroos. BLD Day 11: Point Ann, Bremer Bay Point Ann lies within Fitzgerald River National Park, one of the largest national parks in Australia. You may wish to join your expedition team on the Point Ann Heritage Trail, a short walk which follows part of the original rabbit-proof fence.
