Zagreb - Sarajevo “B Today we cross the border into Bosnia & Herzegovina and make our way to the historic capital, Sarajevo. A vibrant city full of history and Turkish heritage, it is often called the ‘Jerusalem of Europe’. Day 5. Sarajevo “B We'll explore Sarajevo on a sightseeing tour this morning. Highlights include the buzzing Turkish bazaar, ‘Bas Carsija’, the Husref Bay's Mosque and the Gavrilo Princip Museum. te Discover the culinary delights of Sarajevo ona gourmet walking tour. Sights will include the Bell Tower Clock, Orlando's Column, Rector’s Palace and the Franciscan Monastery. Montenegro Excursion “B We spend the day touring the tiny country of Montenegro. Admire the beauty of the Dalmatian coast as we drive along the rugged Bay of Kotor, dotted with charming villages. Day 9. Dubrovnik - Hvar “B Today we head north along the spectacular coast to Hvar Island. We'll take in the views from the panoramic road on the island as we journey to Hvar town. Day 10. Hvar - Split “BL See the highlights of Hvar on a walking tour this morning. We'll enjoy spectacular views from the Hvar Fortress, a medieval castle, then have a delicious lunch in Vrisnik. In the afternoon we board a ferry for Split, Croatia's second-largest city. Day 11. Split xB We tour the historic city centre of Split today, which is built around the remains of the world's most impressive Roman monument - the Diocletian's Palace. Day 12. Split - Trogir - Liéko Petrovo Selo Today we stop in the town of Trogir, where artists from around the world gather to paint. “BD In the afternoon we travel to Liéko Petrovo Selo, just outside the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park. Istrian Peninsula Excursion ™“B Enjoy a full-day excursion along the beautiful, heart-shaped Istrian Peninsula. Visit Euphrasius Basilica at Poreé, the Roman Amphitheatre in Pula and the charming fishing port of Rovinj Day 16. Opatija - Postojna - Bled “B Today we visit the incredible Postojna Caves, with more than 20 kilometres of passages, galleries and chambers. We ride an electric train through the caves discovering two- million-year-old stalagmite and stalactite formations. This afternoon we continue north to fairytale Lake Bled in the Julian Alps. Day 17. Bled ™“B The region around Bled is one of the most beautiful in Europe. Set amongst stunning mountain peaks and brimming with forests and greenery, waterfalls and streams, it is characterised by the iconic church steeple that perches atop a tiny island in the middle of the lake. Here we enjoy a wonderful sightseeing tour including a visit to Bled Castle before we visit the lake valley of Bohinj. te Visit the Alpine Dairy Farming Museum, learning about the life of herdsmen in an authentic environment and tasting the locally produced cheeses. Next we ride a cable car to the top of Mt. Vogel where we admire breathtaking views over Lake Bohinj and the surrounding southern Julian Alps. We'll have free time for lunch served amongst this Alpine wonderland. Day 18. Bled @ Take an afternoon walk with your guide along the walkway through Vintgar Gorge, a stunning turquoise oasis of rapids, waterfalls and crystal-clear pools. hy Take part ina gingerbread heart making workshop, learning about the tradition of gingerbread as you make your own. Bled - Ljubljana - Zagreb BLD This morning we depart for the picturesque Slovenian capital, Ljubljana, where we take a sightseeing tour before visiting Novo Mesto, a town on the bend of the Krka River. hy Take to the waters of the Krka River and enjoy a cruise on Rudolph’s Raft passing under the river's four bridges while indulging in lunch and entertainment.
