Arrive in Lima. On day 2 we tour the city, visiting highlights including the Government Palace, City Hall and El Parque del Amor, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Overnight - Lima (2). Days 3 & 4 Onday 3 we fly to Puerto Maldonado and travel by boat into the Amazon. Reaching our lodge, we spend two days exploring the jungle on a series of canoe trips and nature trails. Fish using native techniques and look out for Amazon wildlife. Overnight - The Amazon (2). Days 5 & 6 We fly to Cusco on day 5, exploring the historic Inca capital the next day. Take in the Plaza de Armas, Cathedral and Sacsayhuaman fortress. Overnight - Cusco (2) Day 7 Venture into the Sacred Valley today as we explore Pisac market and ancient Ollantaytambo. Overnight - Sacred Valley. Day 9 is at leisure. Overnight - Cusco (2). Days 10 & 11 Takea scenic bus ride to Puno on day 10, stopping en route in Andahuaylillas to see the Church of San Pedro. On day 11 we enjoy a boat trip on Lake Titicaca to visit the floating reed islands of the Uros. We also meet the Quechua-speaking locals on Taquile Island and enjoy lunch with a local family.
