Sunday. Welcome to Vilnius! On arrival, transfer to our hotel. Overnight - Vilnius. Enjoy a tour of Lithuania’s beautiful capital on day 2. Discover the cathedral, Old University, Gediminas Tower and the pretty Church of Peter and Paul. Later, travel to Trakai and visit magnificent Trakai Castle, which is scenically located in the middle of Lake Galve. Continue to the port city of Klaipeda, where day 3 is free to relax. There’s also an optional trip to the Curonian Spit, a 98km sand dune that separates the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon. Overnight - Klaipeda (2). On day 4 we enjoy a short tour of Klaipeda’s Old Town before travelling on to Siauliai. We explore the capital’s medieval Old Town on day 7, taking in the city walls, the Great Guild Hall and Toompea Castle - now home to the Estonian Parliament. The afternoon is free and there’s an optional medieval dinner in the evening. Our tour ends on day 8 (Sunday) with an airport transfer.
