Friday. Arrive in Reykjavik and transfer to our hotel. On day 2 we climb the Grabok volcano crater, visit a natural history museum and see the beautiful Vidimyri Church. Continue through striking scenery to Akureyri Overnight - Reykjavaik (1), Akureyri (1). On day 3 we explore Akureyri and visit Godafoss waterfall. Continue to Lake Myvatn to see the lava formations at Kalfastrond, then end the day with a dip in the Myvatn Nature Baths. On day 4 we hike in the lava labyrinth of Dimmuborgir - according to legend trolls roam here. Visit the hot springs of Namaskard and see the churning Dettifoss waterfall (June - Aug).
