Friday. Arrive in Cairo. On day 2 we discover the legendary Pyramids and the famous Sphinx at Giza. After plenty of time to explore, we continue to Saqqara necropolis to see the Pyramid of Zhoser. Overnight - Cairo (2). Join a guided tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum on the morning of day 3 and see the royal mummies at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation. The afternoon is free to relax by the hotel pool before we board the night train to Aswan. Arriving the next morning, we visit the beautiful Philae Temple before spending the evening at leisure. Overnight - Sleeper train (1), Aswan (1). Opt for an early morning visit to Abu Simbel on day 5 before we board a felucca and enjoy a relaxing two-night Nile cruise (Nile cruise upgrade available). We return to Cairo on day 12 and enjoy an afternoon at leisure. Our tour ends on day 13 (Wednesday), with an included transfer to the airport. Overnight - Cairo (1).
