Make & Something Special Bunnik Tours are about embracing people, culture and the world. Special experiences allow us to get in touch with the world’s people, which is why we strive to create intimate and profound encounters. They're the type of thing you can't do on your own or on large group tours and are what set our small group tours apart. The experiences are expansive, fun and memorable. ESL pe Festiva S South American Explorer/Peru Explorer - Inti Raymi Festival 19 June 2024 Witness the colour and pageantry of Inti Raymi Festival (Festival of the Sun) featuring street fairs, dancing, and live music from Peruvian musical groups. Enjoy the day, taking in the spectacle and incredible sights and sounds of this annual festival. Viva Mexico - Day of the Dead Festival 28 October 2024 Enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in Mexico's Day of the Dead Festival. Although the name may sound grim, this festival is actually a colourful celebration where the Mexican people remember and honour their deceased loved ones. We'll watch the parades and experience the unique graveyard celebrations. Machu Picchu - Peru - Dennis Bunnik Inca Trail Most of our South American tours include the option to trek a portion of the iconic Inca Trail. From the incredible archaeological complex of Chachabamba to the impressive ruins of Wifiay Wayna built into the steep countryside and the picturesque Sun Gate of Inti Punku, it'll be hard to catch your breath, and not just because of the altitude! Ending in the ancient Incan city of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, there is no better way to tick off this unique bucket list destination. A good level of fitness is required, and altitude levels range from 2,400-2,700m. The portion of the trek we'll complete begins at the ‘Km 104’ train station and covers 13km over a 7-8 hour period. The trek is strictly limited to permit availability and must be pre- booked at the time of tour booking.
