Day 01: Arrive Rio de Janeiro Arrive in one of the world’s most spectacular cities, Rio de Janeiro, and transfer to your hotel, located on the famous Copacabana Beach. This evening, meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers at a welcome reception. Three Nights: Rio de Janeiro, Belmond Copacabana Palace. Day 02: Rio de Janeiro Today you will travel to Corcovado mountain to see the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. As you visit one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, look out to simply stunning views across the city. Later as the sun sets, set off on a cable car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain for panoramic BLD: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner views of this spectacular city. Afterwards, you will head to a local restaurant for Brazil's famously delicious barbecue fare. BD Day 03: Rio de Janeiro This morning, enjoy your selected Freedom of Choice sightseeing activity: Cruise the beautiful Guanabara Bay on a schooner boat, take a colonial walking tour or visit the colourful Santa Teresa arts district. B Day 04: Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu Falls Fly to the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls. Ride the Rainforest Ecological Train then continue to the Brazilian side of the falls. Stay close to Iguazu Falls at the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas, the only hotel within Iguagu National Park, Brazil. BD Two Nights: Iguazu Falls, Belmond Hotel das Cataratas. Day O05: Iguazu Falls Begin the day on your Freedom of Choice activity: Get up close to the toaring cascades of Iguazu Falls on an included jet boat safari, or for a special bird’s-eye-view, soar over the falls on a helicopter flight. Then in the afternoon, spend some time enjoying the panoramic view of the falls with a leisurely walk between each of the viewing platforms. Spanning an area 2.7 kilometres wide, Iguazu Falls is made up of roughly 275 incredible waterfalls waiting to be explored. B Antarctica & South America 2023/24 Day 06: Iguazu Falls, Buenos Aires Fly to Buenos Aires and head for the Recoleta district, where your hotel awaits. B Three Nights: Buenos Aires, Alvear Palace. Day 07: Buenos Aires Enjoy a tour of the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires.
