On day 4 there’s an optional canoe trip on the river before we cross into Namibia after lunch. Arrive at Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world, and home to incredible scenery. Overnight - Orange River (1), Fish River Canyon (1). We enter the Namib Desert on dey 5 and take in the clay pans of Sossusvlei, surrounded by dramatic sand dunes. We base ourselves at Sesriem and watch a beautiful sunrise from Dune 45 on day 6. We then further explore the desert region. We spend day 12 game driving across the vast park, keeping our eyes peeled for wildlife. Overnight - Etosha (3). Leaving Etosha behind, we head t to the Namibian capital of Windhoek on day 13.
