Arrive in Nairobi. On day 2 we cross into Tanzania and reach Arusha, our base for exploring the Ngorongoro Crater. Over the next few days we enjoy a game drive in the crater area and explore the Serengeti National Park, looking out for Africa's Big Five on the vast plains. Overnight - Nairobi (1), Arusha (1), Karatu (1), Serengeti (1), Arusha (1). Days 6 & 7 We drive to Pangani on day 6 and complete our journey to Dar es Salaam the next day. Overnight - Pangani (1), Dar es Salaam (1). Days 8 - 10 On day 8 we travel to Zanzibar where the next three days can be spent relaxing on the beach and exploring Stone Town. There's an included spice tour and a sunset dhow cruise. Overnight - Zanzibar (3). Days 11 & 12 On day 11 we return to the mainland and game drive through Mikumi National Park. On day 12 we journey to Iringa. Overnight - Mikumi (1), Iringa (1). There's time for swimming and canoeing, and we may be able to spot a hippo or two. Overnight - Lake Malawi (3). Days 16 ~ 18 On day 16 we head into Zambia's South Luangwa National Park in search of iconic African wildlife Enjoy a game drive in the park before we leave for Lusaka on day 18. Overnight - South Luangwa (2), Lusaka Area (1). Days 19 - 22 We reach Livingstone on day 19 and visit the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls. Day 20 sees us game drive through Chobe National Park in Botswana and camp out in the bush. We enter Zimbabwe on day 21 and reach Victoria Falls. There's free time to admire the waterfall (entry included) before our tour ends on day 22 (Saturday). Overnight - Livingstone (1), Chobe (1), Victoria Fallls (1).
