DAY 2 - JOHANNESBURG — HAZYVIEW Travel to Pretoria, South Africa's capital city, for a brief tour before continuing to the Mpumalanga Province. Journey via the historic towns of Dullstroom and Lydenburg before arriving late afternoon at your hotel in Hazyview, located minutes from the Kruger National Park. Overnight at Perry's Bridge Hollow. (B) DAY 3 - PANORAMA ROUTE Today visit the magnificent scenery of the Panorama Route. From many well- positioned vantage points one has views of the Blyde River Canyon which starts at Bourke’s Luck Potholes and ends at the Three Rondavels. (B) DAY 4 - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK Early this morning you will depart in an open safari vehicle for your first game drive through Kruger National Park. At almost a million hectares, the reserve is the flagship of South African National Parks and is home to an impressive range of flora and fauna including the ‘Big Five’. Return to your hotel for lunch (at own expense). Later this afternoon enjoy a second game drive in the park. Overnight at Perry's Bridge Hollow. (8) DAY 5 - ESWATINI After breakfast, travel to the Kingdom of Eswatini. Enjoy an interactive cultural experience introducing you to the charming people of Eswatini and their traditions. This is where the white rhino was saved from extinction. Overnight at Anew Hotel Hluhluwe. (B) DAY 7 — KWAZULU-NATAL COAST Continue the journey along to the iSimangaliso Wetland Park - a UNESCO World Heritage site. At St Lucia, embark on a boat trip to view crocodiles, hippo and numerous bird species in their natural habitat. Today's journey finishes in Durban. Overnight at Protea Hotel Umhlanga. (B) DAY 8 - DURBAN — KNYSNA This morning fly to Ggeberha (flight cost not included). On arrival at Gqeberha Airport, you will travel via the coastline to visit the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park and the Storms River Mouth which offer incredible views and photo opportunities. Arrive in Knysna, the ‘Gem of the Garden Route’. Overnight at the Rex Hotel. (BD) DAY 9 - KNYSNA After breakfast take a lagoon cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve (weather dependent). (BL) DAY 11 —- OUDTSHOORN ~ CAPE TOWN This morning experience a meerkat safari. Witness these incredible wild habituated creatures emerging out of their burrows, in time to soak up the sun before they head about their daily activities (weather dependent). Return to the lodge for breakfast and continue your journey through the ‘Little Karoo’ to Barrydale, where you will have the opportunity to visit a local farm school, before travelling to Montagu. Arrive in Cape Town and overnight at the President Hotel. (B) DAY 12 - CAPE TOWN Today is leisure to explore the sights of Cape Town.
