You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Products sold and marketed under the KINCROME® Equipment or SUPATOOL Air product ranges including Power, Air, Petrol/Diesel, Electrical/ 240V and select Hydraulic products also come with an express 12 Months Warranty’ from date of original purchase against faulty workmanship and materials. This express warranty does not cover product that has been altered, misused, abused or subjected to normal wear and tear. 'KINCROME® Equipment’ and SUPATOOL Air products are designed and manufactured for a specific purpose, and if used for purposes other than their intended use, will not be covered by the KINCROME® 12-Month Warranty. Before returning items please consider the normal wear and tear factor. All warranty work must be carried out by a KINCROME® Authorised Service Agent. Under the 12-Month Warranty, if you purchase any KINCROME® Equipment or ‘SUPATOOL Air product in brand new condition in Australia, Kincrome Expressly Warrants that the product will be free from defects or faults directly related to the materials used in the manufacture of the products or the workmanship of KINCROME® in manufacturing the product for a period of 12 months from the date of original purchase. Ifyou return a KINCROME® Equipment or SUPATOOL Air product which is defective due to faulty workmanship or materials in accordance with the terms of the 12-Month Warranty, KINCROME® will, at its discretion, repair, replace or refund the product. Goods returned to KINCROME® may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods. The 12-Month Warranty covers parts and labour of any repair but does not include other expenses or losses including (without limitation) delivery or transportation costs or any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of the fault or defect. KINCROME® Equipment and SUPATOOL Air products are designed and manufactured for a specific purpose, and if used for purposes other than their intended use, will not be covered by the 12-Month Warranty. Before returning items, please con: the matters below. Circumstances where the Kincrome Express Warranties do not apply Each KINCROME® Product is designed and manufactured for a specific purpose. KINCROME® Express Warranties do not cover products that have been used for purposes other than for its intended use, or that is misused, abused or subjected to normal wear and tear, or products which have not been correctly maintained. ‘The KINCROME® Express Warranties also do not apply in the following circumstances: (@) where products has been purchased second hand; (b) defects on products that are insignificant or non-material; (replacement or repair of any consumables on products, including (without limitation) batteries, sandpaper, drill router bits, chucks, arbors, cables, hoses, washers, nozzles, seals, spark plugs, air filters, or air fittings; (d) _ the replacement or repair of lost parts or accessories on products; (©) any defect or damage which is a result of repair, alteration or modification carried out without the written permission of the KINCROME® Australia Pty. Ltd , or an authorised service Centre; i] the use of parts not manufactured, sold or approved by the KINCROME® Australia Pty. Ltd are used in any replacement or repair; (g) __the appliance is damaged as a direct result of incorrect installation or being used for a purpose for which it not designed, sold or otherwise not in accordance with any instructions for installation and use; (h) the appliance is damaged as a result of operating the product incorrectly or when it was known to be defective for example, if the product is abused, misused, dropped, crushed, impacted with any hard surface, exposed to extreme heat (including fire) or cold, not maintained properly, or used after partial failure; (the appliance is operated on an electrical, gas or water supply which differs from the ratings specified on the rating plate and instructions. for installation and use of the appliance; @ defects or other faults arising from normal wear and tear, including on parts or components of the goods; (k) defects or other faults arising as a result of the goods being operated or maintained in any way contrary to the operating or maintenance ‘instructions; and ( when the cause of a defect or damage is due to operator error such as the product has been modified, incorrectly adjusted or operated, subjected to incorrect electrical supply or inconsistent electrical supply, or used with inappropriate accessories (0 damage or loss to items stored in any KINCROME® storage boxes (such as tool boxes or vehicle storage boxes). WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE ‘To make a claim under a KINCROME® Express Warranty, you must return the product (freight prepaid), along with appropriate proof of purchase, to a Authorised KINCROME® Service Agent or one of KINCROME® other addresses and specify in writing how the product is faulty. To find the nearest Authorised Service Agent visit www.kincrome.com.au or call the KINCROME® Customer Service Centre on 1300 657 528. On receipt of the faulty product, KINCROME® will assess the item and your claim under the relevant Kincrome Express Warranty and (if your claim is approved) replace or repair the product as it deems appropriate in its absolute discretion. If you are provided with replacement products, you immediately transfer ownership of the original faulty product to KINCROME®, If KINCROME® no longer stocks the same product, then KINCROME® will replace the faulty product with a product which is as close as possible to the product at the relevant time. If your claim under a KINCROME® Express Warranty is rejected, KINCROME® will provide brief reasons as to why the claim was rejected. To prevent freight damage, adequate packaging must be used to return products to KINCROME® or an Authorised Service Agent. If your claim under a KINCROME® Express Warranty is accepted you can seek re-imbursement of the reasonable costs of returning the product to KINCROME® or an Authorised Service Agent by contacting the KINCROME® Customer Service Centre on 1300 657 128. If your claim under a KINCROME® Express Warranty is not accepted you will be responsible for all costs you incur in returning the product to KINCROME® or an Authorised Service Agent. All products replaced or repaired under a KINCROME® Express Warranty are guaranteed under the KINCROME® Express Warranty for the balance of the relevant warranty period. Kincrome Australia Pty. Ltd. will honor all warranty claims that are submitted by a consumer in accordance to KINCROME® warranty terms and conditions, ‘The maximum amount payable by KINCROME® under any KINCROME® Express Warranty is the original purchase price of the product. Kincrome may, at its discretion, avoid or reduce a claim if you make any misrepresentation or any fraud or dishonest act or omission in connection with a claim under a KINCROME® Express Warranty.
