Over the next year, Ronni and a team of pro bono lawyers called on state governments to amend legislation so food donors could donate to charities without fear of liability, allowing OzHarvest to expand across Australia in the following years. Now, OzHarvest’s iconic yellow vans rescue more 19 @ fresh ideas Christmas than 300 tonnes of good food each week and deliver it to over 1500 charities to support people in need. OzHarvest has become Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, and this year began supporting remote First Nations communities in Kakadu, Northern Territory.
