Dining All meals on board your cruises are included. Meals are served in the dining room in a single sitting. No table reservations can be made in the main restaurants. On board, enjoy breakfast each morning in the main restaurant. Lunch consists of salads, soups, and a choice of entrees, mains and desserts. Dinner is a multi- course meal also presenting a selection of entrees, mains and desserts. Casual dining is also available. Reservations for the private dining restaurant on board the Mekong Serenity are to be made with the Hotel Manager upon embarkation. On land journeys, breakfast is included each day. Selected lunches and dinners are also included as indicated on itinerary pages. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available — notify APT of any special dietary requirements when booking. Dress Code The dress code is relaxed. Comfortable clothing is ideal for during the day, but smart casual clothing for evenings on board the ship is recommended. You may wish to bring something a little dressier for the welcome and farewell dinners, however there will be no black tie or formal evenings. Comfortable footwear is imperative for excursions and embarking/disembarking the ships. If your sightseeing includes places of worship, please ensure your clothes are clean with sufficient body cover. As a general guideline, shoulders and knees should be covered (for both men and women) when entering buildings of a religious nature and family homes. When entering temples and pagodas, shoes may need to be removed. For this reason, please ensure you bring footwear that can be easily removed. Drinking Water A high-quality reusable water bottle will be provided and refill stations for clean drinking water will be available in most locations. e Elevator In Vietnam & Cambodia an elevator is located on the Mekong Serenity river ship, however the Sun Deck is not accessible by elevator. Entertainment Onboard entertainment varies for each ship, and depends on the region you are in and the availability of performers. Live Fully f Fitness Centres The Mekong Serenity has a Fitness Centre on board for recreational use. Flights Within Asia Economy class flights included in your tour within Asia are booked by APT's ground operators. Your flight details will not appear on your final documentation, your Tour Director or local guide will carry all necessary paperwork for these flights. Luggage for all internal flights is limited to 20kg (44lbs). g General Physical Fitness APT's cruises and tours are not physically demanding; however, because of the nature of many of the sites you'll be visiting, some tours will require a good level of fitness and health to participate. Some trips may not be appropriate for guests with certain medical conditions and physical restrictions. Walking tours are often on uneven ground and may include stairs as well as steep inclines. You should be able to stand on your feet for an extended period of time to visit museums, attractions and other sites, as well as when checking in for flights and cruises and at Customs and Immigration. The ship will often dock mid-river and you'll be required to embark/disembark your ship onto/from smaller vessels to travel ashore. Gratuities Gratuities are included for all cruise staff, local guides and drivers on all APT holidays. Gratuities cannot be redeemed for a cash refund. h Housekeeping Our housekeeping staff will attend to your suite twice daily. Should you have any additional housekeeping requests, Reception can be contacted 24 hours a day for any assistance you may require. Internet & Wi-Fi All river ships are equipped with internet facilities and wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is also available.
