Australian Medicare, New Zealand ACC and private health insurance will not cover you for any medical costs onboard. All cruises (even cruises that do not visit foreign ports) require international travel insurance. We strongly recommend that you organise your travel insurance at the time you pay your deposit. You should not base your insurance decision on the assumption âit won't happen to meâ ~ accidents or illness can happen to anyone. Hospital bills can cost more than AUDS5000, or equivalent, per day. Yes, if you have a medical condition or take medication it must be advised at time of booking. We will send you a health questionnaire to complete so we have all necessary information. We want you to be safe and comfortable on your cruise, so bring enough medication to last you until the end of your holiday. It is also a good idea to bring a few extra days supply in case of any unforeseen delays. Can | bring my medical equipment to use onboard? In most cases, yes. To ensure your medical equipment will work onboard, please advise your Travel Agent or our Cruise Contact Centre at the time of booking. We will then send you an information sheet to complete. For safety reasons, your equipment will need to be checked prior to boarding. When am | going to get my cruise documentation? Princess CruisesÂź operates a paperless documentation program that promotes environmental sustainability and ensures guests receive up-to-date information in a timely manner. This program begins once you have paid your deposit and consists of a series of information emails including a downloadable travel summary. Once you have completed all your personal details via the MedallionClass App, and paid for your booking in full, you can download your Digital boarding pass. A Travel Summary and your luggage labels can be accessed via Cruise Personalizer. How do | find out what shore excursions are available, and how can | book them? General shore excursion information is available in the Shore Excursions section of our website. You can view prices and pre-book excursions for your cruise from 120 days until seven days before sailing via âCruise Personalizerâ. As numbers are limited, we recommend you book early. You can also book at the Shore Excursions desk once on board | have limited mobility; can | go ashore in all ports? Itis important to note that access to water shuttle ports may be restricted, which may also limit your excursion options. Do not worry if you cannot go ashore, a range of activities are available onboard! Some of our larger Princess ships may dock at freight terminals which may be located further from townships than passenger berths. In these instances ports may not have sufficient wheelchair accessible transport to accommodate all guests which may limit access for these guests. Can | organise gifts or celebrations before sailing? We can help you celebrate your honeymoon, birthday or anniversary onboard with one of our special occasion packages. You can also arrange a gift such as a bottle of wine and/or a box of chocolates for a friend, loved one or even yourself, up until five (5) days prior to departure. Yes, let Princess CruisesÂź help you create memories to last a lifetime. We offer a wide variety of special packages for weddings and vow renewals on most of our ships. Visit our website for more information or to download a brochure. How much luggage can | bring? We recommend no more than two (2) bags per person. Each bag can be no bigger than 140cm x 60cm x 40cm and cannot weigh more than 32kg. It is important to remember that airlines may have different luggage restrictions. Can my friends and family see me off? Family and friends are welcome to share in your excitement and wave farewell from the cruise terminal. Due to security reasons, they will be unable to come onboard with you. Welcome aboard! What's included in my cruise fare? Your comprehensive cruise fare includes onboard accommodation, ocean transportation, all main meals onboard, some non-alcoholic beverages and most entertainment. Excluded are meals at some alternate dining venues, meals on hosted land tours unless noted otherwise, transfers and items of a personal nature such as, but not limited to, spa services, shore excursions, beverages and some snacks, photographs, gratuities and medical services.
